Unlike the traditional approach, we don’t pitch firms. Our interest lies more with the attorney. Specifically, how they can best maintain and ultimately grow their practice. We take the time to listen and understand what issues exist in one’s current situation; rate pressure, firm support, resources, location, practice strength, platform, etc. We then determine, based on the issues that have been identified, what firm or firms best fit the individual’s practice need. In short, tell us what you want and we will tell you if it exists and where. It is then up to the individual to decide if he or she wants to take a look. Occasionally, we will even tell someone that where they are is the best situation for them. How many other recruiters can say that?


The way we do this is by constantly evaluating and reviewing firms on how they do business. We do not have firm executives wining and dining us or trying to woo us with the virtues of their firm. They are welcome to do so, but it won’t change our opinion. Some firms have succeeded over the years in spite of themselves while others have very quietly built dynamic practices. We are not lawyers but we truly understand the business of law. Our firm evaluations are constant and we make our recommendations based on what is happening today and tomorrow, not yesterday.
