APG facilitates Mergers and Acquisitions of Property/Casualty Brokers. In 2007 insurance carriers were severely impacted by the declining economy. It was at that point APG began aggressively developing relationships with national, regional, and boutique brokers in the placement of Property/Casualty, Employee Benefit producers, as well as Mergers and Acquisitions of smaller firms with profitable books of business.


Marsh USA was one of the first clients to partner with APG as they were expanding their Middle Market Division on the West Coast. Marsh’s objective was to attract top revenue generating producers from regional players to create a new platform with a more personal approach to remain competitive in the changing insurance market. APG had great success and placed several million dollar producers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver.


Throughout that venture APG cultivated relationships with dynamic, profitable, well managed regional retail and wholesale brokers taking on clients such as Lockton LLC., Heffernan Insurance Brokers, Millennium Corporate Solutions, GNW-Evergreen, Frank Crystal & Company, The Leavitt Group, and BB&T Insurance Services.


Over the last few years APG has placed numerous million dollar producers with their broker clients using a hands-on approach. We align and negotiate complex compensation packages, book buy-outs, valuations, non-compete counseling and advisement, and the design of equity partner agreements. APG understands the risk involved for producers, and our consultants simply have the knowledge and experience needed to deal with complex variables, confidential information, and many other complexities associated with the placement of a broker.
